TOGETHER

Love hesitantly tapped on my shoulder,

Smiled a cautious welcome at me,

Wondering if I would accept his hand.

I turned, curious at being beckoned thus,

And looked at his open arms, outstretched

gently for our tender embrace....

I moved towards him, longing.
