Glare Of Glory

Glare Of Glory

A Poem by King James

Look!!!

Glare Of Glory

Eyes filled with tears display a life showed in pain,

You’ve shed so many tears they accumulate line rain.

Hidden fear and weakness disables your motive for motivation,

Giving up is not an option and winnings your inspiration.

Different faces, different races but still the same tears,

Both sweat, and blood lost year by year.

Trials and tribulations, war wounds that never mend.

Distracted by our enemies, impacted by our friends.

All hope lost yet confidence is still intact,

Eyes focused on the prize without ever glancing back.

The warm light of hope, the flares of a passionate fire,

Flames that burn inside you hunting for your hearts desire.

The money that comes and the problems that transpire,

The history of misery & violence that finally expires.

You can finally look forward to a life of paradise,

And thank God for giving ye both the faith and might.

once again I loved it.

"Trials and tribulations, war wounds that never mend.

Distracted by our enemies, impacted by our friends.

All hope lost yet confidence is still intact,"

I liked that part - it was very moving
