bliss

bliss

A Poem by kirsten773

red cells respect,
as white cells fight,
my heart claps though the night,
my eyes shut their doors,
now my mind can explore,
my lungs inflate,
as a picture shapes,
sky, breeze, and trees,
a picture of a valley is what my mind sees,
breeze whips to wind,
clouds shake and rumble,
the picture in my mind begins to tumble,
eyes doors open,
it seems the night has turned to light,
its amazing how i did not miss,
this relaxed, peaceful, joyful bliss.

Very descriptive, I like this one. It gave me a different perspective on poetry. Very well written and the imagery is impressive.

Very imaginative! I liked the transformation that the poem took as it visited so many aspects of life- our bodies, nature, light, etc. And it also tells a narrative adding extra depth to an already deep study. Good stuff.
