Every soft breath, 
the rhythm of your heart
The warmth of your touch
All lead me to rest.

There is a comfort that is know
only when I'm in your arms.
There is a feeling that I get,
I no longer feel alone.

And as I struggle through
each day of pain and chaos,
fighting just to survive this world,
I can make it cause of you.

You, who stands beside me
so no burden is mine alone,
to help me stand when I have fallen.
To remind me of all that I can be.

You are my light in the dark of my soul.
The never ending flow of faith
encouraging me to face my demons.
Reminding me that freedom from my past is my goal.

You are the reason my heart sounds, 
ringing out in joyous songs
turning my chaos into a calm
and steadying my quaking ground.

Without you I would be dead,
an empty shell, quaking in fear
not knowing how to face the past
the monsters that hunt me, fill me with dread.

For I am not but a child alone,
in a wilderness of hatred
in a world that I don't know.
And you have given me a home.

And so to you I state my love,
undying, grateful, eternal.
You are the world, the moon the sun.
You are the earth below, the sun above.

And how you can brave the black
chaotic storming sea of my being, 
and love me in spite of it, I do not know.
But my faith in you will never lack.

For even when the turmoil of my mind
tosses out boat madly
in a raging tragedy,
You pull me back, and I can leave the past behind.

There is a love a deep satisfying love that grows in each of us, all we need to do is breath, so many seem to forget to do that. .... yet it's the most natural thing.... your words flow with few errors. ...a torrent of spinning and spiritual dreams..... thank you.

Thank you! I'm glad that you could see the picture I wanted to paint. Your words mean so much to me as this piece is very important. I wrote it as a silent thank you to the one who has been there beside me for six years. Despite everything that has happened he never turned away. I know he will likely never read this (he is not much for poetry, he has trouble understanding metaphors) but I wanted to immortalize everything he is.
