Beautiful Moon

 

Shining moon, glows at dark,

Warms each passing traveller’s heart.

They glance up to the faintly lit sky,

And all they can do is softly sigh.

 

Luminous moon, hiding at day,

Causes the people to weep in dismay.

They cry for the beauty, the shimmer of their moon,

Whose splendor is still unseen at noon.

 

Glimmering moon, rising at night,

Makes all those living to forget their plights.

They gaze upon your glittering  glory,

And their life seems like a child’s story.

 

Beautiful moon, high in the sky,

You’re pleaded to never say goodbye.

We behold your dazzling charm,

And hope you never come to harm.
