The Ocean.

The Ocean.

A Poem by .abigail.
"

i recently went to a beach town for a holiday for a week, and wrote this there.

"

 She crashes,

Forever majestic and forever powerful.

Her salty spray envelops her,

A never-ending blanket of mist.

She edges towards land,

Longing to be with her forbidden lover,

But her master the moon commands her back to Poseidon’s domain.

She shrinks back to her prison,

However tempted she is disobey her master,

To wreak havoc as she rushes towards her lover’s embrace,

Heedless of the insignificant lives she crushes beneath her,

She always obeys her master,

And instead unleashes her fury upon those that dare to trespass onto her.

A very descriptive poem about the beach. I love the way you allow her to rule as we know she does. Thanks for a good write. A friend Lynn

Hey. My real name isn't Abigail, but I prefer it, and I don't want my friends to read any of the stuff I've written, so I'm not putting my real name. I was born in 1994, I live in Australia. M.. more..
