Thought Nothing of It

This poem is basically about drugs

 

I took a puff and thought nothing of it

Once I tried it, I was hooked like a fish

I tried weed and thought nothing of it

I was so high I thought that I could fly

I saw a jumping jelly bean wherever I looked and his partner was a jumbo shrimp No one else saw it…

I tried cocaine and thought nothing of it.

I sniffed it, and soon after, my nose bled

I tried heroin, and thought nothing of it

I could feel the prick of the needle

I wanted to quit, but the drug had a tight grip on me!

Intense desire

Restlessness

Muscles and bones in agony

Cold flashes

Goose bumps.

I tried marijuana and thought nothing of it

Anguish and anxiety

Paranoia

Couldn’t eat

Ended up as skinny as a tooth pick

I tried meth and thought nothing of it

There were bugs all over my arms, I went to pick them off but they wouldn’t go away

a nightmare that I couldn’t wake up from!

I tried it and thought nothing of it

Now I wish I had…

Again, I wrote this when I was in 9th grade, but all the information in there is actually true. I did my research! XD
