Your eyes glisten

 

Your heart races

 

Your skin is against mine

 

Your lips pressed firmly

 

You're not wanting to let go

 

 

 

I never want this time to end

 

The moment of serenity

 

The peace it causes within

 

Lifting me up, making my spirit soar

 

For you make me enjoy the world

 

 

 

Hand in hand, we shall walk

 

Laughing at jokes

 

Smiling as rain begins to fall

 

Pulling me under a tree

 

Letting me feel

 

Your kiss upon me

 

 

 

The power consumes me

 

Overwhelms my mind completely

 

Never wanting this moment to end

 

For I will have no words to say

 

After you take my breath away

 

 

 

With the stars shining vibrantly

 

Illuminous in every way

 

Silence overcomes us

 

We have nothing to say

 

You take my hand in yours

 

We continue to gaze

 

And then

 

 

 

You arise..

 

Lower yourself on a bended knee

 

Asking, my love, be with me?

 

After such a moment

 

How can I refuse?

 

You pull me close
