The moon is a wicked b***h

The moon is a wicked b***h

A Poem by klawrites

The moon is a wicked b***h

Hopeful efforts turn to eventual lies
Scaring yourself from the committed itch

Those night are full of empty promises
She's almost complete but lacking truth, a liar, she stays anonymous
Night after night, you stare into her light

Claim she's neighboring Heaven,
You wish for more, return every night You say you'll resist when you reach the seven
Only to find a shy and new understanding
The dark side. the light side. no hell. no Heaven.

She'll discreetly show you her complete desperation
Dissatisfies when you swoon. Naked at high noon. They call her the lying moon.

Realize the problem with the lie
She’s here in bat of an eye

With nothing more to offer than an incomplete high

This was a neat double of scotch that went straight to my head!

Good writing!

Those incomplete highs are strangely sought after but they never really satisfy, do they?
