Writer's Block

A poem about writer's block

The words scream at you yet you can't find them.

You cannot piece the puzzle together.

There are so many things you want to say,

But you keep thinking of everything else.

You stare at the paper in front of you.

Trying to force the words out of your head.

Writer's block is torture to a writer.

You have ambition to write everything,

Yet nothing seems to come into focus.

Then suddenly, the fog lifts and you write.
