If I were to Tell You

If I were to Tell You

A Poem by kookoobananas
"

If I ever mustered up the courage to actually tell him I loved him, this is exactly what it would sound like.

"

If I were to tell you

It would go something like this:

Hi

Hello…

Ahem. This is difficult…

But

Every time you hit me up

My insides swell

And I grin

Because you’re such an idiot

And I’m so excited

To see your words pop up

On my screen.

And when you tell me I fit perfectly

Or that I killed the cut

Or that your cousins in Poway

Only live 25 miles away from

My dorm

Because you checked on google earth

It makes me hate you (in a good way)

A little bit more.

Because that means it has to be something…

It can’t just be sex

Can it?

Because although I’m a good liar…

It isn’t just sex

To me.

I want you to move here

Just like you always say

And hold me

Day in and day out

And make me laugh

And make me want to punch you

And make me climax

And make me light up

After class

When I have seeing you

To look forward to

Because what I’m trying to say is…

For some stupid reason

You are the one.

But don’t ask me why…

Ya punk.

Not a bad write. But, it doesnt describe the reasons you 'love him' (according to your description). Honestly, judging purely from the poem I'm not at all convinced that you love him and arent just infatuated. Not a bad write as I said, theres just no love to be felt here(to me).
