to my daddy

to my daddy

A Poem by Kopy Kat

do you want to know the truth daddy? well you wouldn't believe me if i told you so no sense in it anyhow so  instead ill just scold you. i am sure by now you have discovered that your daughter has been proven to be made out of more than rubber. And no daddy, no glue and definitely no tears from you. I love you daddy almost as much as the stars way up high, almost but not quite and deep down you know just why. sometimes i become the ocean whenever it involves you its just better that way and again you know its true. i will never say that i am sorry well accept when i play the game, you know Sorry the one with the bubble, oh wait a minute no thats trouble. i remember the way you smiled at me and the way your eyes would always light but regrets i have none especially late at night. I am so proud to know that you are my father the only father i have on this planet and the memories that we shared, i send them off in a rocketship called the rabbit please dont cry for me, its just not right if i wont cry for you. only when we cry together only than will it be cool...but not as cool as a midsummer's nights dream cause i am most certain, there is no crying there.
