Communication Catalyst

Communication Catalyst

A Poem by Samantha Koshiol

Validation

Concentration

Debating

Pacing, back and forth at any situation

My mind is racing.

Creation

Frustration

Discrimination

Remaining faceless

Constant changes

Need to scream before I break it...

My mind is waist deep.

Waist deep and rising

Need to think before I chime in

No excuse for verbal violence

Subtle abuse like I don't mind it,

Stuck out on a ledge climbing and I need some quiet.

Very good ! I like it ! Short and clever and subtle in it's internalised emotion...Your rhyming is very very good, I'm not usually a fan of rhyming poetry as it is so easy for it to be clumpy and clumsy especially very repetitive rhyme but you've really got a handle on it here and it shows your skill as a writer and a communicator :) The only thing I would say is that I wish there was more of it ! It's very good and I love the style, but as it's so short it's highly cryptic...Perhaps this is the point and it does work but I'd just love to see what else you could do with it...If you get the chance go to www.homeofpolar.com and listen to the sort of stuff this guy does; it's performance poetry, but this little write of yours really reminded me of it :) a very good write which I enjoyed well done ! x

really interesting write, you created this panicky, frantic state of mind, like you're losing control and you need to get away from yourself... everything is a barrage inside your mind.... the ending just says it all, great work.
