"

Lexi meets a girl who seems somewhat familiar.

"

The very next day, my first day of high school, I walked in to my 1st period class, and the first thing I saw was a sort of homely looking girl sitting all alone.  She looked familiar, but I couldn’t place where she was from. Her hair was unique in its auburn color, and in a somewhat fake way, it sat perfectly on her head. As I was gazing at her familiar face, the rest of the class came in and I was immediately trampled by people. My books all fell out of my arms and I fell to the floor as well.  Right then the girl jumped out of her seat, to help me gather them up.  We both stood up, and as she went to hand me my book, I saw on her arm these weird symbols. Somewhat curious, I reached over to touch them.  As soon as I did, I immediately pulled away.  The room started spinning and I fell backwards and hit the cold floor beneath me. My eyes shut closed a few moments later, and there it was again, the picture clear as day in my mind. There was the girl, the dark figure, and that voice. It was my dream all over again.
It seemed to pick up from where it had left off last night.

The young girl replied in a harsh tone “you think this is my worst nightmare? Don’t even pretend like you know what a nightmare is.” “If you think this isn’t a nightmare, little girl this story hasn’t even picked up yet.” The voice replied.  “You can’t even begin to live up the things I’ve been through.” She barked. “Little girl, you don’t know who you’re dealing with, but don’t worry, you’ll know soon enough.” Then the room went dark and my dream blank. I heard a voice calling me now, "Lexi, Lexi, wake up Lexi." Said a voice that painfully rang through my ears. "Who is that?" I said as i choked back the tears caused by my splitting headache. It's Mrs. Mandy, the clinician. I immediatley opened my eyes to that. "Wait what? I'm in the clinic? How did I get here? Am I gonna die?" I asked confused. "My, my, my so many questions. Okay I'll explain it to you. You probbaly can't remember much, you had a pretty hard fall." She said. "Hard fall, what?" I was perplexed. "Okay, calm down here's what happened." She began to explain the whole story to me. "You see, you walked into your classroom and according to your teacher you were trampled by people, then she said your books all fell to the floor. Penelope here came to help you pick...." I stopped her in mid sentence. "Penelope?" I asked. "Hi." She said with a shy smile. "So you're....." I couldn't seem to get the words out of my mouth. "I'm what?" She asked me. Apparently she was just as confused as I was, or maybe she was hiding something. I tried to think more about what had happened, but I could barely figure out what was happening now, my head was throbbing. It was almost unbearable, though somehow I managed to stand up and slowly stumble to the doorway of the clinic. At this point I was just so weak. I began to see the room spin yet again, and rigth when it did i noticed a cold hand on my arm. I jerked around to notice Penelope grabbing me, like she knew I was going to faint again. I collapsed on a pile of limbs ontop of her. I heard a yelp as I fell. Somehow I managed to stay concious, but since I had landed on Penelope, she was out cold.
