In the Sky

Looking up I see a perfect portrait

It'll always be here

no one can claim it

I smile as we both peer

into the sky naturally lit.

Lighting the nightly exhibition

I hold your hand

my grand delusion

fading away into sand

a figment of my imagination

Pity you aren't real

but I'll have the stars

I'll have these photos in the sky
