Excuses

The clock mocked me, its illuminated numbers ticking away in rapid succession. I glared at it daring it to switch over. I had spent all day sitting in front of the computer, trying to evade the open word processor yet at the same time trying to fill it. I had been making excuses all summer in attempt to postpone doing the work for AP English. Putting it off only resulted in disaster though, it was due in 2 hours. I had only 3 sentences of 10 pages done. Even now I sit here typing this instead of writing what I should. Yet another excuse. . .
