Journey

Journey

A Poem by Kyle

this is one of the few poems of my childhood that i have decided to post here, i know its not the best, but it was a start

"

Journey

The complex properties of my mind,

stretch across the battlefields of youth

and the vast (still un-described) ocean of adulthood.

I walk down the path of missed opportunities and unachieved promises

to reach the end, the pinnacle of my life,

where all motions stop and all distractions disappear, my nirvana.

But until I reach that that stage

I stay suspended in this endless emotional limbo of my own thoughts, bordered by the rules of order and the rules of life

left their to choose

how my pilgrimage will end.

I must decide before my light dims and disappears,

for when that day comes

I will disappear along with it.

I liked it, considering you consider "13" to be childhood!
No, seriously, I liked it, and I understood EXACTLY what you were trying to say.
