Hero

Hero

A Poem by Kurera

The hero stands alone,

Misinterpreted and shunned.

Lost their lover, lost their home,

Lose it all, helpless and stunned.

Find a new purpose? Maybe.

Desire for revenge? Perhaps.

A person is only an infant, a baby,

With a story full of gaps.

Anyone has their own story, own legend,

Face their own problems, their enemies.

If you are hurt, you can always mend,

When you are done, you fly on with the breeze.

Stand up for others; stand up on your own,

You are a hero for sure, down to the bone.
