Darkness

another one of my older poems :P

My eyes are closed; they can’t open.

I only hear silence, is this a nightmare?

Devour me, terror has spoken.

My soul is losing its flare.

 

I can't breathe, I can't see.

What is going on?

To see you smile is what I need.

I saw the dusk, but where's the dawn?

 

Am I still breathing?

I can’t speak what I need to say.

In the darkness, I’m drowning.

It feels thick like clay.
