THIRST OF LONELINESS

THIRST OF LONELINESS

A Poem by kurrupted

Dehydrated i was crawling in despair on the sandunes of loneliss,

under the scorching sun of heart grief,

thirsty i was for the water of affection,

but how elusive the surface water (mirage) remains,

suddenly....from afar a datepalm led too an oasis,

so assuringly refreshing....my thirst of loneliss was quenched,

in supplication i prayed to THEE,

and guess what that palmtree is?????

its YOU.

I love your analogy in this piece. Great imagery! i think deleting the last three lines would make it an even stronger poem.
