Generation

very generation starts anew young and fresh.

Learning from the past to start the future.  

Each generation grows and shapes the world in their own way,

whether it be peace or war.  

Every older generation scoffs,

at what is to be their successors.

Not knowing how we will change the world.

 Every generation must prove themselves to the past,

so they can shape the future.

My generation,

The generation of the new.

We get looked down on for being too alone.

We don't talk to each other nearly as much,

and we don’t seem worthy to the last generation.

Our communication skills are not as good as they once were.

But we the men and women of tomorrow.

Are the worlds only hope,

We are the generation of the new.

We will one day prove that we are more than a lit up screen,

because we are the strongest generation to walk this earth yet!
