My Beautiful Girl

She was so beautiful, my little girl

She was the beginning of my world

Never a day goes by

That I don't cry,  for you

Her essence was something to behold

I always wrapped her up so she wouldn't get cold

She was shiny and bright like a new penny

Now that she's gone I don't feel like I have any

Reason to be in this life without her

She is my best thing to remember

During the day I look and wait to see

If she will eventually come back to me

Her beauty is beyond compare

Sometimes people would stop and stare

She had to go to Heaven you know

But with all my heart I wish she didn't go

God will take care of her now

Even though I don't know how

To live without her day after day

She was my life and it will stay that way
