In the Bar

In the Bar

A Story by kyam
"

Man

"
I was shooting pool
He thought he was too cool
He kept staring at me
Drinking beer you see

Moved to sit in front of me
Seeing what he could see
Not taking his eyes off for a second
He thought when he left I would come

Then he entered for a second time
Staring at me like he was blind
Trying to lure me over there
I pretended I didn't care

He said "Follow me"
Through the fog all I could see
His muscles bulging from his shirt
He was looking at my legs under my skirt

So I went out the door
I pretended like he was a bore
But he did follow me
He thought I was to be

He kissed me real hard
A kiss from afar
It sent me into orbit
Kind of like sherbert

We dated and then
The marriage was to begin
To love each other forever
We wouldn't leave never

I have just recently started writing and am a mere novice. I enjoy short stories and poems. I've had an immense amount of pain in my life and I would say that's my greatest source of writing to heal.. more..
