MomentsA Poem by Lori MackAbout my son's addiction.
Moments
There's moments that I just can't quit crying, Because I know that your so hungry And cold that your digging in dumpsters for food and clothes. I know that you are so high That you don't care What someone might do to you, Or what you have to do to get your next fix. There's moments everyday, When I can't hold it together Because I know you are not safe. I would give up my life To make it all better for you. But I can't fix this for you. So for now I cry for you. My heart mourns for you. I love you so much son. I'm praying for you. Love always, Mom L. Mack 4/29/18 © 2018 Lori Mack |
