counting on someday

it's funny

before everything started

i told myself

that i'd never cry over a boy

he says to let it go

he says to let it die

how can i do that

when i'm still counting on someday

remember when you said that

you had told me

"mabey someday"

i'm still counting on that day

counting on someday

and if ever you should leave me

i should leave this earth

until that day comes

i shall wait patiently

for someday
