dark drives

dark drives

A Poem by labellevoyageuse
"

I came up with the idea of this poem while I was driving home one summer night, feeling that I was doing the most self-reflecting on my drives home in the dark, viewing the road as the best counselor

"
concrete counselor,
sigh, my lover, my friend, yes
endless roads bring calm

I appreciate your author notes giving this write more depth of understanding. I can see the wisdom found on a dark long road with time to take counsel with your own thoughts. I liked that with your words I too found myself on a road of calm. Well done. I hope to read more. Thank you
