 My skin fever hot,

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 Mind lost in tangled thoughts 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Crying, Weeping

 

Held in your arms

 

But the warmth won't penetrate

 

The  cold buried in 

 

My Heart

My Soul

My Bones

My mind is crumbling

 

Sanity Un-atainable

 

Coherence Un-reachable

 

Greif Biting

 

Tearing at my soul like

 

Rabid Wolves

 

Insanity

 

Stabbing like

Broken Bones

 

Fear crawling like

 

Maggots Under Skin

 

From nightmares again

 

Visions of a rotting body

 

Eyes Staring Blankly

 

Covered in swarming

 

Bloated, Black Bodied Flys

 

Worms devouring

 

Burrowing in flesh

 

Old,

Cold

Lifeless But Moving

 

Mouth opened in a

Silent Scream

To fill with

Nightcrawlers

 

And more flesh eaters

 

To Burrow Unseen

 

In This Waking Dream

 

My Body You See

 

Decaying,

Covered In

Rotting Leaves

 

Infected slashes in my

 

Wrists,

My Throat

Hand holding a

Blood Scrawled Note

WoOoOoOo... this is different. Very interesting format...

Bit Like the plunge from the edge of night into a pit of nightmares trying to find the poem; didn't know you can get down this far... my mouse is hyper-ventilating now.
I do like the visual way it is written, red on black adds to the emotional cauldron, but it's the way the razor edged claws of your sentiments rip into my sanity... I love it.
