another day

another day

A Poem by Nina Love

I try to remember your face,
As I begin to restlessly pace.
As each day passes,
With eaach line I write,
I'm losing a little more.
The memories are torn from my soul.
With each passing hour,
I begin to feel like Rapunzel,
locked in her tower.
Another day is past,
It's all going to fast.
You begin to fade,
Along with the home we made.
I dig up a picture,
All torn and stained.
I try to pretend that it's you I hold,
But it's just not the same.
Here without you,
Memories begin to fade,
And you die a little more in my mind.
