Nocturnal desire

Nocturnal desire

A Poem by Luka Arabella Jocíte

The drought kills the thirst,

My mind begins to freeze

The moon upon the sky -

I had a dream last night

Momentarily not a lot,

My eyes dart everywhere

Because beneath the vest,

Is where it tastes the best

My body starts to melt

The leaves abandon trees

My knees do as they please

The playground love begins

I am dancing in the joy,

The night is young tonight

I had a dream last night -

The Devil by my side.

We dream what we desire but only destiny shows that do we deserve what we desire ? Beautiful poem. The rhyme and the choice of words has turned out well. Had a good joy inside reading it. Thanks for that. Keep it up.
