The End

The End

A Poem by Lana

Why am I like this?
Why?
I want to be far away from the abyss
But I only get pushed too far
My fear is bliss
My joy is an uproar
Caught in chaos and turmoil
I can never get too far
From the abyss or this war
I want to free the joy
And let it imprison me
I want to scream to the world
"I'm still here"
But where do I go from here?
I've endured enough storms
Of my own trouble
I spin around in circles
In a whirl
Caught in the middle
With nobody holding my hand
Telling me there is an end
Just the trouble in my head
That wants to roll the credits
And announce to an inexistent audience
The End.

Sometimes, the frustration of being understood is too high but you know that even your screams are unheard..
We fear the end but don't focus much on where it all started..
This is really deep and I like it! Nicely penned!
