Fear

Fear

A Poem by Lana

Fear
You got me under your spell
You make me feel artifical shame
You make me go around like a carousel
You are scared your lies will leave my head
You create more rules to this game we play
Fear
I've had you
And you're all I have
You make me cry
You make me want to die
You killed my spirit in half
One wants to try the other wants to lie
Lie down in paradise
Where fear would subside
Fear
I've had you
And I will kill you
You are a parasite to my ear
A terrorist in my sleep
The tumor of my life
Fear
I've had enough

I would say fear has many forms.. The worst fear is the fear of being forgotten by the few people you love.. That would scare you to death..
I liked the powerful lines in this one..

Fear doesn't ever make you want to die. That is not what fear does. Don't kill it because then you will walk up to a grizzly bear and hug it or something. Fear keeps you alive control your fear and it will serve you. I wish I had more fear.
