Coffee

Coffee

A Poem by Lana

I think there is beauty in simplicity
The smell of your morning coffee
Permeating the air with a cloud rushing
To get to the ceiling
As you opened your window to the city
The sound of cars passing by
Is like a delicious lullaby
You close your eyes and take the time
To sip and taste the aroma
Of thousand of lives
That have prepared your drink
The seeds of  berries
Of fruitful labour and nurture
You remember you have your whole life in front of you
And the whole world living with you
The simplicity of your being
Is what we all crave for in the end
