Be bad

Be bad

A Poem by Lana

Write with your heart not your head
Don't think of intricate ways to be the greatest
Right when your heart sings, you win
Your energy radiates through the air
Maybe it catches on and create electricity
Or maybe just maybe your poetry is ugly
And that to me is beauty
To write with your heart something ugly
As ugly as the human spirit
But as magnificent as our intellect is
We will always be magic
So take it easy
And be bad

Nothing defines a person's heart more than the art or creativity they make. Not all art is perfect, nor should it strive to be. Because we are fallible creatures prone to mistakes. But it is the qualities in our heart that yearn toward its better nature. It's why we dream and have hope. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
