If Ever Found

If Ever Found

egyptian history

In the third dynasty of ancient Egypt, a very special and unusual man resided
This man in the end, would have the status of being a deity
In this ancient land, this man was deemed a genius, every he touched was unbridled
This man, used his ability to help others, from his status, he would become immortal, because he went down in history.

He was a great healer throughout his life, sharing his expertise with any man
His knowledge and genius gained him the status of a God
His name would forever be spoken through out the land
He even helped lowly farmers of the time showing the different ways to plant and maintain their sod.

But his greatest achievement, would be what he would be so remembered for
This man, mortal just as we all are, was he different than us, could he have been from afar?
A man, definitely born before his time, his genius, in this era, never being seen before
His name spoken by all atone time or another, giving him immortality, just like a twinkling star

His Pharaoh, known as Djosher, gave him many titles, making him a man of status, within the royal court
His knowledge, just of medicine, was very advanced, for his time, for his era from which he lived, and when he died
Always fascinated, by what one primitive man achieved, I know of no other of this sort
I think he did more than we know, about some parts of history, some things have been excluded, about some things, modern day man to us, we have been told a lie.

No proof of this exists, it has been hidden well, I wonder if the real truth we will ever know
I just can't comprehend, primitive man, including this man, how they achieved such feats
This man, the architecture he have to the third dynasty, destining a building, that still stands for show
The step pyramid, yes we are talking of Imhotep, he earned immortality, among the others he can have a seat.

This man's flawless genius and work, three thousand years later, it still can be seen
But how? We all have pondered this question, was this man just born before his time, or was he a part of something that may never be found?
An unusual genius, during an unusual time, do we have the right to hypothesis over what to us this man means
Imohotep, a simple man, immortality he achieved, may be we will have more answers, if his tomb is ever found.
