Lady Thorne

Lady Thorne

A Poem by Thorne_Alexandra

With beauty and grace she walks through the place
With her chin tilted up to the sky
With cunning and skill she goes for the kill
When she spots who she wants by her side

She's tender and sweet, her body a treat
Her pleasures she's willing to give
Her temper is sharp, it'll rip him apart
And she'll bend him to her every will

Her skin is like silk, as creamy as milk
A finer lady the god's never made
Her looks are a trap, for the poor sorry chap
Will soon find that her tongue is a blade

Man, are you crazy! Look at the lady!
She's stunningly lovely and warm
Oh my good friend you must look again
For you see the rose not the Thorne

I enjoyed reading this poem.
It flows very well and had me interested all the way through.
The content is consistent throughout.
A very good piece.

Very interesting. The final stanza has a lot of power, with the "Thorne/thorn" wordplay.

One grammar nitpick: "gods" doesn't need an apostrophy. It's plural, not possessive.

Good poem!
