Down Fall of a Heart Break

Down Fall of a Heart Break

A Poem by Lanke Doll

We're in the home of where she died.
The overdose is what did it.
We love her, we miss her
Though we mush accept it that she's gone.
The numbers of the years pass by.
Our hearts are still aching.
Her story will live on.
though the memories will never cease.
Carrying the image of her limp body in our minds.
seeing her in the tube full of water.
It covers half of her face.
I notice the syringe floating next to her.
I fall to my knees.
Remembering where she once lay.
looking to the sink
can't get rid of the image of where she cooked it.
Heroine, acid Ecstasy
Smoking is what started it all.
We are left with the heart break
we are left with the downfall.

Thank you, It actually took a lot for me to write this without crying.

Powerful, very touching...I have yet to face this experience, but I imagine some readers will be able to relate to this. I like the graphology too :)
