Hope and Stars

Hope and Stars

A Poem by Lana

There's a paradoxe in your heart
A fixture on the wall
A flaw that's unreachable
You cannot grasp the ugly of it all
Innocence, time, your naivety
The sense of fog of it all
You don't see the path
But the fog is wise
A girl without a story
Undefined narrative
Let it unfold slowly
Everything erased becomes poisonous
Unless you let it reset
Anxious foundation
A double spirit
A weakness in the two
The pair is so blue
But horses and roses
They move
And hope and stars sing
You are not foolish to believe in beauty
But believe in it for thee
Everything else can pass like a dream
The past tends to turn sacred
And it will always taste so sweet
