Invisible String

Invisible String

A Poem by Lana

If I'm safe you are safe
And if I can turn your hard heart into crystallized sugar, then we're safe
If I speak words of sunflowers and you smell the poetry in your heart
Then you're safe and therefore I am safe
If I cry and fall into a pit of murder
The whole world lies with me in a bed of hunger
Breadcrumbs attract ants of demonic lies whose power lies only in low frequency in disguise
Then I'm not safe and you're not safe, at last
If I smile, you smile
and if I yawn it's a contagious dance
If I am then you are
There is a certain mystery to the invisible string
Only we see it when we fall
