Cries of War

Kinda just a thing on how I've been feeling lately.

You don’t know much of what else to do

You can’t tell anyone because your mind won’t let you

But you want to tell them what is going on in your head

The wars you have been waging against yourself

There are only certain people you want to tell

But you can’t tell them because they have their own problems

One is a schizophrenic with problems of their own

Another already depressed with issues on their plate

You can’t get the help you need right away

So what do you do?

Do you give in and surrender to war?

People say that you are important to them

But are you important to yourself?

Can you keep living your life being important for someone other than yourself?

Most days consist of you sitting on your couch doing nothing

But you’re somehow important

You can’t pay most of your bills and have no job

But you’re important none the less

How important are you when you won’t be able to fend for household anymore?

You don’t feel important

End of story.

People say they have “worse” problems than you

You should stop complaining about your not as bad life

Sure they probably do

But does that mean you are not allowed to feel the way you do?

Like you can’t handle it?

Maybe your mental stability can’t take it anymore

Is that why you don’t tell people what is wrong?

Yes it is

How kind of you to notice

I don’t have a hold on things

This is my S.O.S.

This is my war journal

Somehow you can live making others happy

But where is your happiness?

Your head is always cloudy

It always has been

It probably always will be

Can you fight your enemy in the fog?

Not really.

Wave your white flag already

You know where the daggers and poison is

Surrender and free yourself from this war

Not every nation was meant to be
