Touch.

Touch.

A Poem by funeralmoon

the memories remain
and the flame simmers on
Ive tried to leave
but you and i remain strong

now our paths together
like i someday thought it so
i wait for your release
and for you to let me know

to know when i can touch
and if you will care
to know when you lust
that the feeling is still there

when are touches exchange
and heat will burn inside
we have been running away
but will soon collide

i now travel in your direction
your resolve weak
you long for my touch
i can give you what you seek

don't try to deny me
its been far to long
act on what you feel
its far too strong

so think blue eyed angel
about the lust you crave
remember me my dear
and how i remain your slave

Emotions are well expressed in this write. wonderful flow of words as well.

I think the last line captures the poem's title perfectly in the reminiscences of that lost lovers touch. Quite a few lines and stanza's stood out to me for their word play. I like it.
