Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
diamond eyes.

diamond eyes.

A Poem by lauren1196

And so the girl with the diamond eyes

Lives under walls of ice

And as the outside world awaits

She waits inside

For the ice to shatter.

She waits for a rescue,

Who will free her,

When she lives hidden?

Looking through a tiny window

She hopes endlessly

For a miraculous escape.

In reality,

She can break through alone,

Yet she waits for a savior

While she ponders,

Who is she escaping?

Poem is amazing. The feeling of wanting to find purpose and reason to be alive. I like the feel in your words. A very good ending. A excellent poem.
