Memories.

Memories.

Memories. They can sometimes comfort us in the worst of times, and they sometimes torture us with the pain they bring back. Though I’d love to say I never cry, how can you hold back tears when you fantasize of the moments you hold so dearly in your heart? Is it because those moments are long gone, drowned in the past? Is it because we love them and never want to let go, because “now” seems much less appealing? Or we love certain people that are so distant in our lives, but so close in our hearts? We keep the memories that bring us over our emotional barrier locked up because the tears are unbearable sad, and the sadness is inhumanely heavy. Daydreams are a dazzling array of your selective memory... so let your imagination lift you and release you, because that’s how we get back to those days.
