Opposites

By Lauren Fuhr

What is the opposite of hair?

It’s when you touch your head,

And there’s nothing there.

The opposite of right

Is obligation,

But that’s not right in every nation.

What is the opposite of nice?

It might be falling into a tub of ice,

It could by a bowl of under-cooked rice, or

An itchy head with hair full of lice

As for the opposite of long

Is it this poem?

This time you’re not wrong!

i love the almost nursery rhyme to this. Ever consider writing childrens books? Looking at some of your other works i bet youd have a real talent for it. I dont mean this condescendingly at all. A good childrens book can be so beautiful. Ever read "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs"? Great write!-Danny
