girl on a bus

girl on a bus

A Poem by lazylines
"

girl on a bus

"
You are bad at taking care of yourself
Free and reckless
Skirting comfortably, accountability
The plausible deniability of youth
A grown up runaway
Untouched by any hand
Raw to feeling
Response exasperated by desperation
Teetering end to end
So much time away from center
Failed attempts glossed
Missed opportunity missed
Built to take it
An a*s until you see for yourself
An a*s for going it rough
An a*s for being proud
Beat your drum so hard that it wears out in the middle
Live on without time
Your days, a room of mirrors
Your rusting skin, marking the passage of years
You'll never know how beautiful you were
