Sand and Stars

Where is the place that affords you a moment to escape from the reality of life?

Settle into the sway of the calming waves. A place as familiar as the rising tide that in time has found it’s rest upon the shore. Thoughts as abundant as the grains of sand between my toes. Yet, the more I walk, the easier it goes as the path softens and molds. Footprints trailing before being washed away. Their memory held in the wisdom of years past. I stop to admire the stars.
