Farmer's Dream

inspired by my work on the farm this summer

the secret space of dreams

reveal landscapes of velvet tulips and primrose poppies

stretched for infinity under crimson skies.

around the mountain range,

I discover vegetable valleys

washed in fresh sunshine

cooled by icy mountain river

freshly preserved from time

forever.

the velveteen sunset

behind the dark evergreen hill 

emitting a brilliant glow,

a grand finale. 

the encore,

the midnite starlite ballet,

dancing across a pitch black canvass.
