Words Spill Easy

Words Spill Easy

A Poem by Anu

Your words spill easy

Smooth and steady

With just one sentence

Pouring hope and happiness into a single glass

But it is as though I am fighting concrete

Endless dead ends

Stomping on growing vines

That still entangle and cover what lies beneath

Killing rain that falls

Still forming puddles

Leaving room to splash

But no reflection to see

Pull a mirror directly in front

Only to gaze upon invisibility

The skill you possess to daze me

Ties the string in a clean bow"never to be untied.
