THE LOST ROAD

I came back from a journey

travelled the mountains and valleys

crossed the oceans and rivers

and grateful when the sun is set

i can lay my back down to the ground

 

Now another course is set to walk

to the valleys where darkness reigns

to the path were no one dares to cross

to the oceans where no ship dares to sail

Now, where am I to go?

Do they represent challenges in your life recently that you have faced and over come...but that you have been so busy doing that...that when they finished you have no idea what to do now..(that being the lost road)?? It was a very mind scratching poem for me...I may have related to it differently than you indended.. but that was what I saw when I looked deeply into the words you penned down. :)
