Oh Love!

The word is not enough to soothe my heart

But hardened it to just waste your might

This world is treacherous to mold me hard

even your caress cannot warm the night

Oh love! why can't I see you?

In this brightest sky of night you are hiding

The wind blows and I cannot feel you

Oh love take me back I plead.

In both word choice, sound, and rhyme is perfect-and I mean that completely, I could see reading that out of a book. The first stanza especially to me had this sort of great meter and I think roundedness, if that's even a word, is how best I can describe it. Really impressed by this one probably my new favorite of yours.
