Light as the wind

Light as the wind

A Poem by Leia Starshine

Softly
I whisper
your name

wishing
the wind carries it
around the globe

Softly
I whisper
‘please’

wishing
the wind carries it
around the globe

Softly
I whisper
I love you

wishing
the wind carries it
around the globe

straight to your heart

This is lovely, These words could easily be song lyrics.

I like the yearning plea that the wind carry your longings across the globe. Reveals the distance you will go to be heard by the one you love. Your poem is "short and sweet"
